"Whose servicing online consumers"

This subject line is a travesty. Obviously, this pitcher is trying to use the contraction "who's," combining the pronoun "who" and the verb "is," but instead incorrectly uses the possessive form of "who." Furthermore, the sentence is obviously meant to be a question. Difficult to tell, however, since the correct punctuation, a question mark, has been omitted. On a scale of one to ten (with ten being the worst), this destruction of the Queen's English merits a 4, with two points deducted for each assault.

Cheers,
Carol "Strunk & White" Waxler

-note from the Red Worm: Although our beloved Fight Club is a bit too proper to mention it, prurience demands that we hail the writer of the above email for her raunchy word selection. "Servicing," more commonly used in matters of animal husbandry, provides a nice hook to the subject header. In fact, the lewd connotations of the term are probably the only reason we opened the email in the first place.
